In 2023, I faced challenges that tested my resilience, but these words of advice became my anchor. These words reminded me to be present, patient, and open to support. I am deeply grateful to those who shared their wisdom and guided me through that journey.
• The person you are right now is who you needed at a younger age
• You aren’t in control of your surroundings only your reactions to them
• Remember it’s just a bad day, not a bad life
• In life it’s YOU vs YOU
• Love is a waiting game
• Communication is key in every relationship
• If you feel like a nobody become somebody
• Going back to an ex is like watching a movie over and over again, expecting a different ending
• You can’t change other people, you love them the way they are or you don’t. You accept them the way they are or you don’t. To try to change someone for who you want them to be is like changing a dog for a cat.
• Actions speak louder than words
• Pay attention to how someone makes you feel, not how you feel about them
• Everyone is a product of there own environment
• You don’t trust that someone is never gonna betray you, you only trust that you’ll be able to walk away
• You can’t control the highs and lows. If you’re looking at a heart monitor it’s going up and down. If you are in control you put it in the middle, that means you flat line. Just remember that life is all about the highs and lows. Whenever you are in a low or a high life will remind that you go to the opposite end at any given time.
• If it ain’t broke don’t fix it
• Don’t speak your opinion if it’s not asked for
• There’s no such thing as the perfect person, only the person you want to make it work
• Do not take advice from anyone who is not living the life you want. And never take criticism from them either
• Hate has 4 letters but so does love. Enemies has 7 letters but so does friends. Lying has 5 letters but so does truth. Cry has 3 letters but so does joy. Negativity has 10 letters but so does positivity. LIFE IS TWO SIDED, choose the better side!
• You don’t accommodate to life, life accommodates to you.
• May I never become so bored that gossip becomes my creativity!
• Things don’t happen to you, they happen for you
• stop thinking so long term, and think about what we can do in the present
• Men and women don’t compete, they complete each other
• Loyalty over love
• They can’t ruin what they don’t know
• They talk about you because they lost the privilege to talk to you
• You can lead the horse to water but you can’t make him drink it
• The prize for aging is wisdom
